Workcamp is a group of international volunteers who come together to assist a local community with a project. Volunteers may come from four or more countries and from all walks of life, irrespective of race or colour, literate or illiterate, religious or non religious. For example families, groups, working adults, graduate students, college students, high school students, and holiday makers. Volunteers work side by side local volunteers on a community base project in a mutually beneficial atmosphere of inspiring experience of culture, hospitality, adventure, fun, friendship and brotherhood. Volunteers are 18 or older and are prepared to live and work in a communal environment. They prepare meals, work, and relax together in the local community. Volunteers usually work 30 hours per week. Living conditions are often simple and work can be strenuous but fun and rewarding. A work camp may last from three to four weeks. Workcamps are a great way to make new friends, complete a meaningful project and increase international understanding.

WORK CAMP DURATION AND PERIOD

There are two periods of FANVO work camps; summer camps and winter camps. The summer camps starts in June and ends in October The winter camps starts in December and ends in January
